I have a close friend who I believe is even more "thrifty" than myself. She is a spectacular bargain shopper and is very good with saving money and staying within a budget. A few years ago I asked her how she is able to have paid off her credit cards and have such a great budget set up. She said "Dave Ramsey". I had no clue what she was talking about. I then pondered a bit and said who is this and where do I sign up? She said "I signed up for a class at church on how to save money and get out of debt and it works great, I have a book you can read".

Now, I took that book home and was determined to be as smart about money as she was and get myself out of debt as well as have some money in savings. I read the book and realized there were a lot of things I needed to change.

I have since worked very hard to be budget savy and I saw on TV a commercial about Dave Ramsey having his own radio talk show. I think here in Burlington the radio station is 600am or 1200 am. I am not sure about the time. I just saw it last night for the first time.

Well, I was clicking around on HULU.COM and found Dave Ramsey's Town Hall For Hope also.

This is a great event that will give you some insight in hope with the economy and your personal financial situation. I encourage all of you to see this.
