Lowes Foods Coupons Policy Update

Just want to clarify coupon policy on Lowes Foods....

As explained to me by customer service at University Dr, Lowes Foods will honor competitor coupons. But, it is at the store manager's discretion to do so.

So here it is.....

You can go to the Lowes Foods on University Dr and they will honor competitor coupons. ex. Target, Food Lion, Walgreens, etc.

You can not, however, go to the Lowes in Graham on Main St. They will only accept Manufacturer's coupons and will not take competitors coupons.

I do not have an update on Lowes Foods in Mebane and will let you guys know when I do.

Today while I was at Walgreens I noticed that the Revlon dryers that have the $10.00 Register Reward had a sale price on them of $12.99. So I asked the Cashier if they were printing out the $10.00 with the sale price and she said yes. The first store I went to, they were all gone, but then I went to the other Walgreens and they had a whole shelf full. So you pay $12.99 but then you get back a $10.00 Register Reward so it is like paying $2.99……I think this is a very Thrifty deal! Good luck finding one….I am sure they will go fast at this price.

My New Coupon Binder!!!!!
I few weeks ago I was going to have to go an a coupon diet, because I could no longer close my coupon binder. Well like most diets it works for a short time, but I failed. I was still not able to zip my binder closed and it was bursting with coupons. Now I am sure my old binder would have worked great for me if I was still only getting 4 Sunday Papers but now that I get 6-10 inserts a week I have outgrown it FAST. One of my readers told me I should check out a new binder from the company Case it.

This is the Mother of all coupon binders! We bought the 2-in-1 Dual Ring Adjustable Binder, priced at $26.99. It has 2 sets of 3 ring binders in it, a 3 inch and a 1 1/2 in. It has an adjustable spine that expands up to 5 inches. Handle with a shoulder strap, zips closed, pockets for everything you might need. The best part is, it has two dividers ( in photo top right red and grey) they have a velcro strap on them that attached to the side so all the coupon inserts will not shift and stay put. It was only $26.99, which is almost what I paid for my smaller binder. I wish I would have bought this one in the first place. I now have all my food items on the 3 inch ring and I have all the non food items on the 1 1/2 inch ring. I keep my money in the zipper pocket on the left and all my store cards on the right, and a pair of scissors in the zipper pocket.
Like I said before the best part is the little velcro straps on the side that keep everything in place. I dropped it the other day and it all stayed put, which was SO nice. Here is a link to the Case It web site….check it out, I am sure glad I did!

She(A Thrifty Mom) was my inspiration to upgrade to a binder like this. After reading this post, I went to the website. I now have a Case It binder and it is great! I don't know how I couponed without it.

Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Update 6/1/09

Got Some Bad News For You Couponers!!!

Harris Teeter has installed new programing that will link your VIC Card to the number of coupons you use in a day. The policy states you are only able to use 20 coupons for doubles/triples in one day per household. They will be implementing this new system on Wednesday where it will not allow doubling or tripling if you go over your 20 coupon limit.

This means for you couponers (including myself) going back in one day for additional visits will not be an option anymore. We will have to start going more than one day a week. I'm looking at a likely senario I will be going everyday when they run their triples!

This information has been confirmed by customer service associate in Burlington Harris Teeter.

When accepting coupons, we use the following guidelines:

- We accept two kinds of coupons: Target-issued and manufacturer-issued.
- We'll accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the same item, unless either coupon prohibits it.
- We can't give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item; in this case, we're able to adjust the value of the coupon to equal the price of the item.
- We can't accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our stores.
- All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier while you're checking out.
