My Valuable Trip

After staying up to 3am Tuesday night getting organized and my grocery list in order, I got up early Wednesday morning and tredged out to Harris Teeter. I was so excited about the announcement of Triple Coupon Week. I spent 2 hours in the store and after 3 trips through the lanes (20 coupon limit) and accomodating an anxious 3 yr old, I walked out so excited of the unbelievable savings I had just received. I ended up spending $63.41 ($145.19 in savings and total groceries $208.06). Now during this process I met a great cashier who was more than generous to let me know weekly schedule (She said she loved seeing how much people saved). She had her own method of checking me out. She insisted on taking my VIC card at the end. She said she loves to see the total amount due and watch all the savings deducted from the total. (I love it too!!) Then she scanned all the coupons and at the end was so excited to tell me the total savings on my receipt. I guess I have now reached coupon addict status.
