Harris Teeter Super Doubles Shopping Trip

This trip was actually pretty easy. Not very many people in the store today. Only drawback, had 2 kids in tow, not as quick to shop.

I discovered that TCBY, in the same complex has a Wednesday deal as well.
On Wednesdays they have $.99 waffle cones

.....so, I bribed my wonderful well behaved children that once we were done at HT then we would get some yogurt. Well, it worked. Easy trip, children stayed in the shopping cart with no fights with each other and no gimme gimme's.

I spent $34.32 and walked out the door with about $164.56 in groceries. I actually used 40 coupons and took 2 trips.

Learned a little trick to get around the 20 coupon limit. (I live 25 miles from any grocery store, can't go every day) My mother rarely shops at Harris Teeter and most definately does not use coupons so I now have her VIC card to use also.

Used 40 Coupons 2 trips

• 1st Trip $16.71 spent $57.29 saved

• 2nd Trip $17.61 spent $72.95 saved (had the free Ice Cream)

Total OOP $34.32, and a total of $130.24 in savings. Saved right at 80% of my total bill. Got a few things in there that we needed this week, I didn't have coupons for.(Milk, eggs, cabbage)

This is why I love couponing!!!
